I am proud

I am proud to live in a country where police officers walk in the Pride parade and not just guard it.
I am proud to live in a country where military can tell.
I am proud to live in a country where senior ministers of government think it is natural to join the parade.
I am proud to live in a country where "Proud parents of gay children" get the biggest cheers.

I am also very proud to serve a church that does not ban gay clergy, does not request that they should be celibate, and where clergy, gay and not, even joins the Pride parade under the banner "the greatest is love".

Today is a day of pride.
