During my eight and a half years as a priest, I have:

Baptized 113 persons, mostly babies, but also quite a few teenagers.

Confirmed 229 teenagers.

Wed 26 couples.

Buried 151 people.

And I have preached in the Sunday service approximately 70 times (yes, a little low, my years as a youth priest in Stockholm were mostly spent preaching on Wednesdays instead).

These numbers are more than just numbers. They are all people, stories about life and death, meetings, sorrow and love. They are all encounters, some brief, some lifechanging. I am so blessed to have the opportunity, and the calling, to meet these people, to walk with them and Christ a short part of their path.

This is the world's best job.
